Micro-choreographies
Research on choreography, composition, and what it can teach us

Cover image: Susanna Monti, Photon BioFlowers

What is choreography? Body in time and space. But what if the body would be limited in space and time? What if the stage is just a table or a window?
How do we deal with limitations on hand choreographic compositional tools?

This research laboratory is based on various choreographic methods, i.e. real-time composition, scores, and improvisation, — and is researching composition, performance, actionism, and art — on the micro-scale. We are going to practice things and create body-in-time-based micro-art.

Micro-changes have been known throughout history as the most sustainable changes. In this circle, we are playing with choreographic tools, learning to see, recognize, and - maybe - influence the scores and patterns at the macro level.
